Our director, Blake Rymer, has over 30 years of counseling and teaching experience. The Grace Life training embodies the truths that liberated and empowered Blake and his wife, Sandra, to spend their lives sharing the truth of God's love and grace internationally.

Grace Cove Retreat is a ministry environment where groups of married couples are lead through a one week “marriage restoration” experience. The setting is a retreat center, resort or hotel in an interesting location where couples can enjoy a week long getaway from the distractions of the day-to-day grind. During this week couples are taken through the basics of the grace life, shown its application to marriage, learn and practice powerful communication skills, receive instruction in and rehearse intimacy enhancing behaviors, and carry out marriage-team building exercises.
For many parents, child discipline is the most difficult aspect of parenting. Sandra and I discovered Dr. John Rosemond when many of our parenting challenges were nearly over. Nevertheless, as parents we found Dr. Rosemond’s books and his approach to rearing children to be the most sane and reasonable we had encountered. As a counselor and minister who deals with frustrated parents we always suggest that John’s books and approach be adopted for the benefit of the parents and the children.
As Certified Trainers for Couple Communication and Core Communication (for individuals and teams), Sandra and Blake have had the blessing of seeing this premier skills program, which transformed their own ability to communication, give hope and solid communication skills to scores of other couples and individuals.
Since its development at the University of Minnesota in the early 1970’s, over 500,000 couples and individuals around the world have participated in the program. More than 65 independent research studies at major universities validate its positive results.
Once you complete the conference and workshop, you are ready to consider Advanced Training, an extensive training experience which is designed to equip individuals to be effective discipleship-counselors. Whereas the conference and workshop are offered to most anyone who is interested, GLAT should be reserved for those individuals who demonstrate the spiritual maturity, the giftedness and the calling to minister in the context of long-term discipleship-counseling. For that reason these people are selected carefully.
