Life That Works
Grace Link International (AKA Grace Fellowship Ministries) has been offering Grace Life training and personal discipleship counseling in North Alabama since 1991. Our director, Blake Rymer, has over 30 years of counseling and teaching experience. The Grace Life training embodies the truths that liberated and empower Blake and his wife, Sandra, to invest their lives sharing the truth of God’s love and grace internationally.
We invite you to contact us to learn more about this liberating, life-giving message.
About Us
Blake and Sandra Rymer
Sandra and I have been married since July 3, 1976. During the course of our marriage we have raised three daughters:
- Parke and her husband, Jeff Stalcup, live in Birmingham, have FIVE little boys - Noah, David, Josh, Jacob and Seth - and are very involved in their church, Shades Valley Community Church.
- Erin and her husband, Greg Skrobarczyk, live in Katowice, Poland, have two daughters, Abigail and Hannah. They lead “King’s Kids,” a ministry of YWAM that reaches out to orphans, foster children and kids from troubled homes.
- Meg and her husband, Josh McClung, live in Leeds, Alabama. Meg works as a nurse at UAB Hospital and Josh works as an Industrial Engineer at the Honda plant in Lincoln, Alabama. They are also involved at Shades Valley Community Church.
We’ve had an exciting life together in the Lord and have had some fantastic experiences:
- We’ve worked with students as staff with Young Life in Huntsville and Montgomery, AL; and Covenant Presbyterian Church and Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship in Birmingham, AL.
- We’ve served in seven different churches as committee members, elders, teachers or counselors and are currently offering leadership to Rivertree Church - a new, non-traditional church in Huntsville, Alabama
- We’ve attended and assisted in hosting the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C.
- We’ve been part of a team that has developed and led a southeast region men’s retreat, which has been held, at Windy Gap N.C. since 1975. (Blake)
- We’ve been part of the leadership team of Bible Study Fellowship and/or Community Bible Study for 20 years. (Sandra)
- We’ve been a part of developing three non-profit organizations - Design for Living in Montgomery, Grace-Link International in Huntsville and Cove Life Counseling in Huntsville - all still offering ministry. Blake currently serves as board chairman for the Association of Exchanged Life Ministries, headquarters in Marietta, Georgia (http://www.aelm.org).
- We spent two weeks on a study tour of Israel.
- We lived in Budapest, Hungary for two years, served as missionaries in Eastern Europe to Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia, Albania, and still travel to EE two or three times a year to do ministry.
- We’ve seen our children grow up and continue to seek Christ.
- We have many, many good friends who love Christ and serve Him all over the world.
Our interests are:
- Blake - travel, golf, reading, writing, teaching, our kids and grandkids (not necessarily in that order).
- Sandra - travel, reading, decorating, sewing, bible study, grandkids.
Blake is an ordained minister and has a M.Ed. in counseling.
